We understand the sensitivities surrounding any serious illness, but sadly this is often a time when we realise our mortallity and start to think about how our loved ones may cope should we meet our end. We are an independent provider of funeral plans and funeral insurance. Even if you cannot afford a funeral plan today, you could take one on payment terms meaning that once the plan is in place, you have at least guaranteed the price, and have the peace of mind that your loved ones would not be at the mercy of the authorities at an otherwise very sensitive time. Funeral Insurance is also available at low monthly rates, subject to being taken out prior to diagnosis of any terminal illnesses. We welcome charity listings from charities and support groups in Costa Blanca, Costa Calida, Murcia and Alicante. In particular we would like to hear from charities and support groups appertaining to Breast Cancer, Dementia, Strokes, Heart Conditions and any charities which offer help to sufferers and carers of such illnesses.

The Spanish Cancer Association provides information andsupport to people with cancer. There are 52 regional branches across Spain

MABS is an English-speaking cancer support group based in
Mazarrón. It offers support to cancer
sufferers and their families including information, assistance and meetings.
There is also a telephone service manned by volunteers for cancer related

Costa Blanca Samaritans (CBS): A volunteer organisation
offering emotional support in English to people in distress or with suicidal

The Caring Together Association provides hospice-type
services to the terminally ill in their final days and support for their

Spanish Red Cross. The Spanish Red Cross provides help for drug
addicts and their families, people affected by HIV and AIDS, immigrants and the
elderly. There are Red Cross assistance centres and help points on the Costa
Blanca and across Spain. The centres offer emergency and psychological help, a
meeting place and a shelter. Further services include social integration
classes and first aid courses, assistance in finding accommodation, treatment
for drug addiction and mobile methadone units. Helping minors is a special priority.
