Spain.
There is no medical required, and is available to any up to age 68.
There are even free of charge dental health features including dental consultation, Floss and flouride, 2 basic extractions, and your first exray is also free. The health plans offer an extensive
directory of surgeries, clinics and hospitals, and the price for all
services is reduced at the point of payment, so you do not have to
wait for re-imbursement.
For those who want an all inclusive policy without the high costs of Sanitas and others, this company have an exceptional reputation for good easy accessible services.
This is an excellent health care company which I have used since leaving Sanitas.
They
operate a simple health plan which has certain exclusions to be aware of, Cancer for example, but there is no part
payment and they simply provide a cheque book, which you use to pay for
the services you use. You can use it for GP visits, virtually any
hospital appointment within their directory, which is quite extensive,
providing that you have been referred by the GP. However, there is a question mark as to whether they will insure you once you pass 70 years of age.

Possibly the largest provider of private health plans in Spain, offering a monthly fee, with various options of part payment, complete cover or reimbursement programmes whereby you pay but claim back after a given period of time.
However, when I came to
Spain in 2003, my monthly premium was around 95 Euros per month, for the complete cover and at the age of 48, but once I turned 50 it rose to over 130 Euros per month. Today this same programme for age 54 is around 158 Euros per month.
The service was very good, and they now offer a range of different plans, although their website makes it very difficult to understand what you get for your money.
